The core goal of our work is a project’s sustainability. Despite local focus, we work in the realm of global relations. Hence, durability, a foundation of trust, and systemic analyses are crucial elements for project success. Current projects in brief:
- A clean, systematic and profound collection of indigenous knowledge: an indigenous knowledge database. We are currently reaching out to partners, including the Wikimedia Foundation, to build an inclusive approach to sharing knowledge worldwide and freely available.
- An assessment of the up-to-now impact of indigenous knowledge in development projects. A survey helps us to find out which organisations do include indigenous knowledge in their projects, what problems occur when doing so, and what could be improved by sound participation strategies.
